The making of nails required three different machines, which are wire drawing machine, wire nail making machine and polishing machine. Our company fabricates and supplies the first two machines. The process of nail making starts with wire drawing. In a wire drawing machine, a steel wire is processed into a certain size (diameter) for nails. The drawn wire is then fed into the nail making machine. Wire drawing is a process of only changing the shape of metal, not its characteristics. A spool of wire is fed into the wire drawing machine which features dies. As the wire passed through the dies, constant speed and tensions are maintained.
